One of the largest modern plantations in the region was planted accordingly to latest production technology and with all necessary infrastructure such as hail protection system, frost protection system, computer controlled irrigation and fertirigation.
Rabo produces up to 8,000 tons of fresh apples and nectarines, which makes us the largest producers and exporters of apples and nectarines in Croatia.
On highly intensive apple orchard with 4,000-6,500 trees per hectare, we produce apples of the highest quality and latest licensed selections of Gala, Golden and Red delicious, Jonagored, Granny Smith, Braeburn and Fuji.
With advanced coldstorage technologies as well as with a wide range of possible packaging of fresh fruit, we have achieved a high level of competitiveness of our products on different world markets, and ensured the supply of always fresh and high-quality apples to our partners throughout the year.
We deliver our apple to Croatian but also various foreign markets. Depending on the market and its preferences, we adapt each delivery to the needs of our clients.
Whether it is the variety, characteristics of the fruit, type of packaging or special forms of fruit confection such as waxing, we ensure that each market gets desired product through careful selection and use of implemented sorting and packaging technologies.

RABO is a family company founded in year 2000. But our fruit growing story begins only in 2008, when the first nectarine orchards were planted, and in stages from 2011-2018. company plants almost 100ha of modern apple orchard.
It was planted in accordance with the latest production and technology trends (modeled on South Tyrol), highly intensive and with the implementation of all the necessary infrastructure such as a hail protection system, a frost protection system and a computerized irrigation and fertirigation system.
With this, our orchards acquired the key prerequisites for high productivity and exceptional quality, but also the security of our own production and the continuity of production and supply to the markets, despite increasingly frequent climatic changes and extremes.
Today, Rabo produces up to 8.000 tons of fresh apples and nectarines annually, which ranks it among the largest producers of these fruits in the region. Implemented technology, infrastructure and know-how of our technologists ensure continuity of high yields of even 80-100t per 1 hectare depending on the variety, which far exceeds not only Croatian but also European production averages.

Rabo is located in Kneževi vinogradi in the heart of Baranja region, and our orchards are situated on the slopes of the sunny Dukes hill. Baranja has always been synonymous with agriculture, superb fertile land and was known as the granary of Europe.
However, it is less known that from its distant past and the time of the Romans, it was a region where grapes, fruit and wine were produced on Dukes hill, which was intended for the royalty and European courts. Exceptional climatic and pedological characteristics, specific wind rose, microclimate as well as a large number of sunny days give fruit and grapes something special. So special that the our village holds epithet of royalty in its name, as a place where for centuries behind us grew fruit worthy of kings.
